When it comes to perfume there is one shop that I think have absolutely nailed their scents and that is Jo Malone. I used to live in Kingston Upon Thames, where Jo Malone have one of their many boutiques, which I always ended up in every weekend. The staff there are amazing, nothing is too much for the customer and their scents are to die for. There are so many aspects of Jo Malone I love and there is nothing I can fault about the experience or the customer service.
Their perfumes are very expensive so I only have one bottle and it is my all time favourite scent, but I will come back to that later. I recently went to Jo Malone for a Bridal Consultation, with my Maid of Honour and it was amazing. They went through the whole range of perfume, explaining what combinations of perfume work well together and compliment each other. I love the fact that you can layer different Jo Malone scents to make a completely new fragrance. I also learnt that fragrances smell different to everyone so even if you and a friend wore the same fragrance you would both smell slightly different. After my Bridal Consultation we were giving a box with some sample perfumes, body wash sample, and a box of sugared almond. This was a lovely surprise after an amazing experience working out what my bridal perfume will be.
So moving on to my all time favourite scent, which you can probably guess from the photographs; Peony & Blush Suede Cologne. I have never smelt such an amazing perfume before, the first note that you smell is the fizzy apple followed by the floral notes of jasmine, rose and gillyflower. I love fruity, floral scents that feel light, I am not a fan of really deep perfumes, and that is why I most probably fell in love with this perfume. This perfume is a perfect summer scent but I will definitely be wearing it all year round and I can’t get enough of it.
One of the perfumes I received in the gift box, after the bridal Consultation is the Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne. This is a lot fresher scent, compared to Peony & Blush Suede, as it has a Peppery Basil and aromatic white Thyme followed by the scent of fresh Lime. This would be perfect for someone who wants a refreshing scent and I feel this cologne works amazingly in the summer and even on holidays.
A few of the other fragrance I love from Jo Malone are:
Blackberry & Bay Cologne
Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne
English Pear & Freesia Cologne
Have you ever been into Jo Malone? If not have a go, and share your experiance. Which one is you favourite perfume? Hope you enjoyed this blog, go check out Jo Malone if you already haven’t as there is a fragrance for everyone.
