Travel Wash Bag Essentials

By the time your reading this I will have landed in Portugal but I thought I would share with you what I like to take in my holiday wash bag. One of my favourite parts of going on holiday is sorting out what I want to take with me, so it usually takes me about a day to get everything out and packed. We are going away for 2 weeks and this wash bag is for my Fiance and I, there are some things that haven’t been included like razors, toothbrush & paste and hairbrush but the rest is here.

So lets jump into it. First of all my wash bag is from Soap and Glory, I purchased it as a set last christmas in boots, and I absolutely love it, If your interested keep an eye out this year. I like to have a nice big wash bag with different compartments, making it easier to pac and I have also fallen in love with the colour. This wash bag is waterproof, which is really important incase a product leaked and just in general, there is also a handle at the top making it easy to move and hang.

Moving onto the products:

Liz Earle: Cleanse and Polish

Liz Earle: Skin Repair Mosturiser (light)

Molton Brown: Body Wash Gingerlilly

Dove Shampoo: Youthful Vitality

Bumble and Bumble: Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner (sample)

Soap and Glory: Heel Genius

When it comes to skincare I always stick with my trusty Liz Earle, as I know my skin will feel amazing and clean no matter where I am. The Dove shampoo is the one I am currently using and really like, the smell is amazing. When I go on holiday I find it is the perfect time to test out new products as they are normally travel size, so its perfect. I have used some soap and glory products before so I’m excited to try the heel genius out.

Soap and Glory: Flake Away

Soap and Glory: The Righteous Butter

My Little Box: Eau Micellaire

Ultrasun: Very High SPF50+ Face

Ultrasun: Extreme SPF50+ Body

Sure: Invisible Compressed Deodrant

I have one face product here which is a micellar water, which I am loving at the moment. I always use Liz Earle but I found and love the way this micellar water hydrates and is gentle to the skin. It is so quick and easy to use when you are tired and dont want to spend a few minutes cleansing. Moving onto the Soap and Glory products. I have used the righteous butter before and love the smell and consistency of it. This butter looks very thick in the pot but is seems to melt into the skin effortlessly  leaving you with very moisturised and soft skin. The next Soap and Glory product is called flake away, which is a body polish. This product really intrigues me and I am really excited to test this out.

When it comes to suncream I have to makes sure I get factor 50, as I have fair skin and burn easily. I find ultra sun is the best for my skin. It is a once a day application and you can wear it in water, without needing to reapply, which is always a bonus. If you like to do a lot of sport on holiday they also do sport SPF’s that you can use as they are sweat and waterproof. I don’t really burn anymore since wearing ultrasun instead I get a lovely glowing tan, win win.

I am going to test out the Soap and Glory products on holiday and write a review, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. If you want to keep up to date with my newest blog posts then click to follow button. Hope you enjoyed this blog.
