As you can tell by the title I thought I would share with you what I brought in Lush this weekend. Last weekend I spent some time up in London so I decided to use the opportunity to pop into the Oxford Street Lush store. My Fiancé brought me two bath bombs from Lush last Christmas and I loved them so much that I decided to go and purchase some myself.
The Oxford Street Lush store is the flagship store and it is absolutely amazing, with three floors of lush heaven. If you want to get the best experience and choice for Lush then you need to go to the Oxford Street store. They have all their normal range, that can be found in any Lush store, but they then have there newest releases and products that are limited to the Oxford Street store.
I could have spent hours in the store looking through all their different ranges and products, but I controlled myself and have a little mental list of what sort of products I was looking for. I found the staff in Lush amazing and so helpful with any questions or queries I had, they even invited us to their ongoing training session. So let’s have a look at what I decided to purchase.
In the end, I went for three bath bombs and a bubble bath bar, which I am so excited to try out, as they are all different from the ones I have used before. I also received three different samples of products I want to try out: two of them being shower gels and one a body conditioner.
So let’s take a look at the bath bombs I went for:
Blackberry Bath Bomb
This is a beautiful blue coloured bath bomb that smells just like blackberries and is almost good enough to eat. This bath bomb has bergamot and frankincense oils in it making for a very calm and relaxing bath. I will definitely be using this after a long week at work or on the weekend when I want to relax in a bath and forget all my worries. This bath bomb will also turn your bath a lovely purple colour as if you were in a bath of lavender.
Honey Bee Bath Bomb
This is the perfect bath bomb when your skin needs extra moisturising or soothing, maybe after a holiday in a hot country or in the middle of the winter months. This bath bomb contains a trio of amazing cleansing and soothing ingredients: Aloe Vera, Honey and Rhassoul mud. These three ingredients will do absolute wonders for your skin and leave your skin feeling refreshed and as soft as ever. Can’t wait to try this one out in the winter months.
Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb
I love the story behind this bath bomb, as it is based on a medieval love potion, making for a spell-bounding bath bomb. This bath bomb has real rosebuds inside it, which will float on the surface of your bath once the bath bomb has finished. Geranium, jasmine and rose oils have been used to create an uplifting bath that can soothe even a broken heart. This would make a beautiful bath bomb for a night when you need some pampering or you just want to treat yourself.
I also decided to purchases a bubble bar that everyone seems to rave about.
The Comforter Bubble Bar
This bar will create a mountain of bubbles in your bath and colour you water a beautiful shade of pink. This bar contains bergamot for an uplighting scent compared to the fruity berry scents of the bar. This bar is supposed to be broken in half when used, meaning you get two baths out of it. The amount of bar you use will depend on how many bubbles you desire but also what other products you like to use in your bath. I think I am going to try the bath bomb and then a bubble bar as I love both products two much to just use one of them and I love loads of bubbles in my bath.
There are so many different products to try in Lush that I always find it hard to choose. I spoke to a lovely girl and she said I could take a few sample home with me so I could try them out. So I decided to go for two shower gels (Plum Rain & Lord of Misrule) and a body conditioner (Ro’s Argon Body Conditioner.) Il let you know how I get on with them.
So there you go those are the products I picked up from lush. I am so excited to try them all out as they all sound so amazing. If you live in London or are going up to visit soon then go check out the Oxford Street Lush store, you will love it. Let me know what your favourite lush products are and what you recommend me purchasing next. Hope you enjoyed this haul!
