I wanted to share with you key piece of makeup I am currently wearing on a daily basis. I have never really worn make up but in the past year or so I have started to wear makeup a lot more and am loving it. I am recently been loving wearing a ‘full face of make up’ without looking like I am wearing any, if that makes sense. I am very lucky with the fact my skin is fairly clear so I have never really bothered with any foundation or base makeup. I have recently started to wear bb creams which I much prefer to foundation, as they are a lot more light weight and moisturising. So let’s get into my key piece in my makeup bag at the moment.
Correct and Conceal Palette by Sleek
About 4 months ago I picked up the Sleep Correct and Conceal palette and fell in love with it. I purchased the lightest palette as I have fair skin and it is perfect for my skin tone. I love the fact the concealer and corrector are both creams, they apply and blend into the skin really evenly and leave me with a flawless coverage in the areas needed. I only recently started using the corrector and love it. The corrector is a more pinky tone and works amazingly under the eyes for getting rid of dark circles. Finally I like to use a small amount of the setting power after I have applied my base and it makes my makeup last all day without any touch ups needed.
Healthy Glow Cream Blush (Nude 03) by Liz Earle
For cheeks I am currently obsessed with the Liz Earle cream blush. It is the perfect subtle pinky tones that really works with my pale skin tone. I also find the cream is really easy to apply. I usually apply it with my finger in a dabbing motion, I find this the most effective way. The blush is also very pigmented so you only need a small amount to give you cheeks a gorgeous rosy look.
Quad Eye Shadow (Lunar Rose 020) by Fleur De Force
I recently picked up the eyeshadow quad and have fallen in love with it. I had been wanting this eye shadow quad for a while and saw Feelunique.com had a sale on and quickly brought the palette and I’m so glad I did. I am obsessed with the colours in the palette and the pigment. There are four different colours and they are all gorgeous. I find you can use all four colours to get a really bold eye look or I like to use the three lighter shades to give a gorgeous rose gold look, which I recently wore to an interview. I apply these eye shadows with my real technique brush and they are so pigment and really easy to build. You could also use you finger to apply them if you wanted a bolder look.
Dimensions De Chanel Mascara (nori 10) by Chanel
Moving onto eye lashes I was recently send this sample size of one of the new Chanel mascaras and I love it. I don’t like a very clumpy and bold eyelash look as I naturally have very long dark eye lashes. I find this mascara gives a very natural look with very little clumping and it also helps to lift them too. I usually just use this on my top eye lashes as I don’t see the point of putting them on my lower ones.
Lip Gloss (Written in the Stars) By Fleur De Force.
Lastly I am currently in love with this lip gloss by Fleur de force, I think the colour and texture of it is amazing. This lip gloss isn’t sticky in any way and it also smells of vanilla, which I love. The colour is your lip colour just a bit darker and it is perfect for Autumn. I love the fact that this lip gloss will last for at least half the day without you needing to reapply it.
So there are my currently makeup favourite that I am currently using on a daily basis. hopefully you enjoyed this blog post and let me know what make up products you can’t live without in the Autumn months.
