If any of you follow my blog or twitter you will know I am starting a new section on my blog all about engagement and wedding planning. I want to be able to share tips and advice on how to make planning your own wedding less stressful. I am getting married next summer so I am going to bring you all along with me on this amazing journey. My first blog post in my wedding section was How I Met my Fiancé so if you missed it then it’s well worth a read to find out how I got engaged. Today I decided to share some amazing photos taken by our wedding photographer.
At the beginning of last week we finally received our engagement photographs, which were taken back in August. Our engagement photographs were taken by our wedding photographer so it was a lovely way of getting to know them and discussing what style and type of photographs we are looking for on our wedding day.
The photo shoot took place in central London, starting off in Covent garden with some stunning results. I love the back drop of Covent garden as it has a very grand feeling with the columns and cobbled streets. Our photographer was amazing and told us step by step what to do so he could get some of these beautiful photographs. By the end of the photo shoot my mouth hurt from having to hold my smile for so long, but it was well worth it.
I absolutely love the top photograph of my Fiancé it looks so natural and it will be going on our wall for sure. As you read this blog post you will notice that there is a wide variety of photograph here, which I really like. Our photographer managed to choose some very different settings, just from us walking around London. The photograph of us walking thorough the park is so nice but took so many takes to get right, can you tell its London?
I never knew how much lighting can completely change the atmosphere of a photograph even during the day. This bottom photograph looks like it was taken at dusk but that’s the amazing power of flash. This photograph is currently hanging in our sitting room as I’m obsessed with it. The photograph of us standing in front of graffiti was a photograph I would never have taken but it works so well and I am growing to like it.
Overall these are just a few of the photograph that we received but these were the ones I wanted to share with you all. From looking through all these photographs it makes me so excited to see the photographs our photographer will take on our wedding day. We are getting married at a stunning location, you have to wait and see where, so hopefully he can get some stunning shots like he did for this photo shoot.
If you missed my photo shoot, which was engagement related, that was taken in Richmond park then click the link here, you wont want to miss it. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and the photographs. If there is anything you want me to include in my wedding section of my blog then comment bellow, and if you want, follow me to keep up to date with my wedding planning.
Hope you have a great evening and I will see you on Wednesday.
