Shadow Switch Review

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Beauty Essentials asking if I wanted to review their dry brush cleaner. I decided to try the product out even though at first I was a bit sceptical of how well it would work. This product is a stippled sponge inside a tin where you press your brush in to the sponge and rotate your brush in a circular motion. It sounded like a really quick and easy product to use so I was excited to try it out.

I think everyone has the problem where there is always powder from your eye shadow, blush or bronzer left on your brushes after you have applied the product to your face. Eyeshadow is the worst as you end up not getting the true colour as other colours in your brush may mix into them. Since using the shadow switcher I am amazed at how much easier it is to get a great stunning eye and not have to change brushes when you want a different colour.

I now use this product every time I do my makeup as it means your brushes are always clear and free from leftover powder. The tin is also quite large so I can put my powdering and blush brush into the tin and use it in the same way, which is perfect. I hate having a really powdery makeup brush bag and this product has completely changed that.

This has now made it into my makeup collection as it’s a tool that make the whole process  of applying make up a lot easier and less frustrating. Just remember you still need to wash your brushes and this sponge frequently to get rid of any germs and bacteria, but for your quick clean its brilliant.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post and let me know if you have tried this product and what you think of it. Have a lovely weekend.

This is such a good idea! I need one in my life as it’s a constant struggle to get dark colours out of eyeshadow brushes when you want to use a light one xx
