It’s been a few months since I showed you my last skincare routine, now winter and the weather is getting cold, my skincare product have changed. My skin can get very dry and tight at times due to the cold weather so I normally go for a thicker moisturiser to help with this. I have also recently started to use a serum by Sanctuary Spa, which I will talk about a bit later.
Cleanse and Polish by Liz Earle
So to start off my skincare routine I always use my trusty cleanse and polish by Liz Earle. I have been using this since I started my skincare routine, years ago, and I just can’t get enough of it. I love the very subtle scent it has and the ingredients in this cleanser. All the ingredients are naturally active and are suitable for any skin type. This product is so easy to use and leaves your skin feeling clean and ready for the day ahead. I love the fact that you wipe of this cleanser with a hot muslin cloth, it feels amazing on a cold winters morning.
Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer by Liz Earle
The next step in my Liz Earle Toner, which is such a lovely step in any skincare routine. The objective of a toner is to add a boost of radiance to your skin and should be done before putting on your moisturiser. I also like to use this product during the day if my skin is feels like it needing an instant lift and is looking a bit dull. This product is amazing and also very versatile.
Radiance Revitalising Super Serum by Sanctuary Spa
This is a new addition to my skincare routine and I am so glad I found this product. I have never used a serum before but decided to give this one a go as it is more of a creamy texture than most I had seen. This serum is supposed to help reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation and dark areas leaving you with radiant and a even skin tone. I wasn’t too sure if this product would live up to its description but I have been really surprised. I have been using this for over a month now and have found my skin looks more even in tone and looks more radiant and healthy, which is amazing. I recently wrote a blog post here all about sanctuary skincare including this serum where I go into more detail about the product.
Skin Repair moisturiser (normal/combination) by Liz Earle
After using the serum my final step is moisturiser. In the Autumn/Winter months the thicker face cream comes out. I have always used the light skin repair from Liz Earle but I have found my skin now needs a thicker moisturiser during the cold winter. I really like the smell and texture of this cream. The cream is absorbed by the skin very quickly and leaves it feeling soft, moisturised. Some thick face creams can leave your skin looking quite oily but this one doesn’t and I find my makeup goes on amazingly after using this face cream.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my updated skincare routine. If there are any skincare products you think I should try then comment down bellow. Have a lovely weekend and see you Monday.
