There are a few pieces of makeup that I am now using a lot more it’s Christmas and thought I would share them with you. Christmas is a great time of the year to experiment with your makeup, like glittery eyes and a red lip. So lets’ take a look at what I have picked out.
Lunar rose (02) by Fleur De Force
I absolutely love this palette and have used it so much. I bought it about four months ago and its one of the best eyeshadow palettes in my collection in the sense of value for money. The colours in the palette are gorgeous and perfect for Christmas. I use Rose Gold ( top right shade) so much as its a gorgeous glittery rose gold colour that really brightens your eye but is also quite subtle. I love wearing subtle colours on my eye and this palette is perfect for this. I also like to create a bit of a smokey eye with soft mauve (bottom right). Overall this palette is amazing and well worth purchasing.
Dimensions De Chanel Mascara (10 Noir) by Chanel
I always find when I apply mascara it really makes my eyeshadow stand out and look complete. I recently received this same from Chanel and have fallen in love with this mascara. I like quite a natural look, as my eyelashes are naturally dark, long and naturally curled. I will usually apply one coat of this on my lashes as it really separates my lashes out and doesn’t make them clumpy, which is exactly what I look for in a mascara. I will definitely be wearing this on Christmas day.
Ruby Tuesday (715) by Max factor
I always bring out a red lip when Christmas comes around, it’s such a festive look. I really like this red colour on me, it is a very bright red but it compliments my pale skin. I will normally stay clear from bright colours but around this time of the year I like to wear them. I love the way this lipstick allows me to create a really easy statement looks just with my lipstick. This lipstick is really easy to apply and lasts a really long time on my lips, which I love.
All these makeup pieces are the ones I use, especially during the Christmas months. What are your go to make-up pieces over Christmas? Do you like a bold look or more of a subtle look?
Merry Christmas, Steph x
