When it comes to Christmas Eve everyone goes to bed excited about what Father Christmas is going to leave in their stocking. I thought it would be fun to do a stocking gift guide of items that are under £10 but would be lovely receive. I have done a mix of presents with some related more for girls and other more for boys, so let’s take a look.
Bobble Hat
Cookie Cutters in Festive shapes
Chocolate coins
These items are all unisex and are ones I would love to receive. Starting off with a bobble hat, this one is from Primark and was a bargain at £3. You can obviously get a bobble hat from other clothing stores too and in different colours and style. I think hats are a great idea as everyone needs one in the winter and bobble hats are really in at the moment. Over Christmas time I love to bake and these cookie cutters are lovely. These were really inexpensive at £1.75 from a local kitchen store but you can get similar ones from most retailers. They are a lovely gift for a stocking if you know someone who is into baking. When I was a kid I always received chocolate coin in my stocking and they are great as everyone loves some chocolate at Christmas.
Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash by Liz Earle
Templetree Body Wash by Molton Brown
Mulberry & Thyme Hand Wash by Molton Brown
Mini body and hand washes are great items for a stocking, as they are a lovely way to try out new brand and scents. Molton Brown always have sets of mini body washes at Christmas, which you could split up and pop into your families stockings. I always like to go for a more luxury brand like Molton Brown or L’Occitane as people usually wouldn’t buy these products for themselves so it’s a lovely treat for them. I added in the Liz Earle body wash as this is one of their travel size body washes that smells incredible and lasts forever. It’s a lovely unisex smell and makes any shower and bath time feel luxurious.
Frosted Cranberry Lip Balm by The Body Shop
Shadow Switch by Beauty Essentials
Red Fingers & Mistletoes by OPI
If you have someone in your family who loves beauty then these gifts will be perfect for them. The frosted Cranberry Lip Balm would be perfect in anyones stocking and The Body Shop have this lip balm in other scents too, well worth checking out. The frosted cranberry was a scent from last year that I picked up in the sale but the frosted berry lip balm smells very similar, so festive.
Moving onto the beauty products, I recently talked about a dry brush cleaner that has changed my makeup life. If you know someone who is obsessed with makeup then they need this in their stocking this year, trust me. To read more about this product then read my review here. When it comes to Christmas a lot of girls love to paint their nails in festive colours and Red Fingers & Mistletoes is my go to nail varnish, its red and has flecks of gold glitter in it. This nail varnish, or any other nail varnishes you know they would love, would be a lovely stocking present.
Hand Food by Soap and Glory
Shea butter, Almond, Vanilla Bouquet by L’Occitane
You can’t really do wrong with a hand cream in a stocking. My two favourite brands are Soap & Glory and L’Occitane. Starting off with Soap & Glory, I have been using this hand cream for years and it’s my favourite during the winter months. It is more for the women as it has a fruity scent but it feels really nice on the skin and leaves your hands feeling hydrated and soft. If you are looking for a brand that has a huge selection of hand creams then you need to go check out L’Occitane. They have a number of different hand creams with a lot of them having shea butter in them, which helps to really moisturising and soften the dryest of hands. L’Occitane do all their hand creams in travel sizes too, which make for lovely stocking fillers. You could choose a few you like and pop them in your other half’s stocking this year.
Champney’s crackers from Boots
Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal by Topshop
I love Champney’s products and when I saw they had Champney crackers I was so excited to go pick them up. These crackers contain a travel size of their body product in their three different ranges: Citrus Blush, Summer Dream, and Heavenly Days. You get four crackers in the set and would make four lovely stocking filler presents. These products all smell gorgeous and are a lovely luxurious products.
Finally you can never have too many socks and I love to get my family novelty Christmas socks, which end up being worn all year round. I got these ones from Topshop as they have a large variety of designs to choose from but you can go where ever you like.
So that concludes my gift guide for stockings. I hope this helped you get some idea of where to start looking and what items I think are great to pick up for family and friends. If you have any other suggestions then leave them down bellow, I would love to hear them. Make sure to catch up on all my other blogmas post and see you tomorrow.
Merry Christmas, Steph x
