Christmas scents with Wax Melts

When Christmas comes around I like to make my home feel and smell like Christmas. I was so excited when I receive Christmas gift set from Pick ‘n’ Melt, which is a company I had never hear of before. The idea behind this company is so interesting, you basically pick and mix the different scents you want to try. They have over 250 different wax scents to choose so there’s definitely something for everyone.

When I received my package, which was very well packaged, and opened the box I could already smell some gorgeous Christmasy scents. I received the standard Christmas gift set which comes with a Pick ‘n’ Melt wax warmer with a tea light, 16 small bags of melts ( 8 different Christmas scents) and a guide of the whole range of scents they have. I loved all the wax melts that came in a stripy pick and mix style bag, its like have a pick and mix of wax melts and I love it.

So I wanted to go through to the Christmas scents I was sent and tell you a bit about them.

Christmas Spice – This is a really warm scent packed with Christmas spices such as cloves, cinnamon, ginger and hint of orange.

Christmas Time – This is a really nice scent if you don’t like very spicy scents as this has more fresh notes with apple, fig and plum notes. It is still a Christmasy scent just with a fruity twist.

Red Robin Breast – This is a lovely fresh and fruity scent which smells like cranberries with a hint of peach and plum. it’s a really gorgeous light scent.

Frankincense & Myrrh – This is one of my favorite scents with notes of wood and spices with a hint of freshness to it. Its more of a subtle scent that I love burning in the evenings.

Coco & Log Fire – I expected this scent to be really smoky by surprising it isn’t. It definitely has top notes of wood with middle notes of vanilla and cinnamon. To me, this smells of my dad’s eau de toilette, which is woody and spicy.

Snow – A very fresh smell with a hint of musk to it. I think this one could be burnt during the whole of winter, not just Christmas.

Mistletoe & Wine – This is a beautiful fresh scent that has a lot of layer to it. It has soft spices with a mix of berries and leaves. It then has undernotes of vanilla and jasmine. A beautiful combination.

Festive Tree – So as you can guess this one smells like a Christmas tree but with a twist of spices. This isn’t clean like a fir tree scent would be it’s more spicy and warm.

If you know someone who loves candles, wax melts or having their house smell of Christmas then maybe a Pick ‘n’ Melt Christmas gift set would be a beautiful present for them. There are two different gift sets: Standard which has a Pick ‘n’ Mix wax warmer and 16 bags of melts (8 different Christmas scents) and is priced at £12. The Supreme again comes with a Pick ‘n’ Melt wax warmer and 32 bags of melts ( 16 different Christmas scents) and priced at £18. Pick ‘n’ Melt currently have an offer on their Christmas gift sets where you can buy three and get 1 free, making the standard set £9 each and the supreme £13.50 each. A great offer well worth taking advantage of as they are beautiful sets with amazing scents.

If you want to try out Pick ‘n’ Melt’s 250 other scents then their monthly subscription service the Pick ‘n’ Melt Party is a great way to do this. Subscriptions start at £8 per month and you can tailor make your box with scents you choose yourself. So there you have it, let me know if you decide to get one, hopefully you will love it as much as I do.

Merry Christmas, Steph x
