Advent Calendar Review

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you will know my parents bought me the L’Occitane beauty advent calendar for my birthday this year. I absolutely love L’Occitane products but I have only tried a few of their products. So it’s now the 22nd of December and I wanted to share with you want I thought of this advent calendar, so let’s get started.

First of all I love the illustrations of the front and inside of this advent calendar. It was also held shut with a beautiful red ribbon giving the element of opening your first Christmas present.  This illustration looks like it was originally hand drawn and it’s a scene of how the L’Occitane products are made, like elves in Santa’s workshop. The advent calendar has been made from card meaning the doors don’t rip when you open them and its feels nice when you open up each door.

As for the products inside, I am so excited to try them all out. There is a large variety of products from hand soap to shower gel to essential water. They have also included a variety of their different ranges, some of which I haven’t even tried before.

I have already tried some of these products as I couldn’t resist trying them. The relaxing shower gel is beautiful, I actually tried it in my bath and it was so relaxing with the lavender scent. There are so many different travel sized product here that will be perfect for traveling and I’m definitely keeping a few for our honeymoon next year.

Overall I think this advent calendar is worth its price of £42 as you don’t get any filler gifts and I will definitely be using everything in it. some of the products  I wouldn’t have usually brought, such as the essential water or exfoliating body soap but I am so excited to try them out.

If you bought this advent calendar or any other one then let me know bellow what you thought of it. There were so many to choose from this year and I’d love to know which one you decided to go for. Hope you are having a lovely day, can’t believe its only 2 more sleeps until Christmas day.

Merry Christmas, Steph x
