Autumn is now officially here and I’m so excited !! Once Autumn has arrived I end up switching my body care product for ones that are more hydrating so I thought I would show you what I am now using.
Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Body Wash
I love Molton Brown body washes and this is defiantly my favourite. I love using really fresh and fruity scents during the Spring / Summer but once Autumn arrives I love cosy and slight deeper scents. This body wash has a lovely kick, with its top notes being Fiery Pink Pepper, but it also lovely comforting scent at the same time. I love that once I have washed it off you a still subtly smell it on your skin. This body wash is also great for baths if you want to cocoon yourself in gorgeous sent and have lots of bubbles too. Molton Brown overall is a great brand for bath and shower products, their scents are to die for
Loccitane Ultra Rich Shower Cream
This is the ideal show product for someone who needs something a bit more moisturising and how has sensitive skin, as it doesn’t have much of ascent. This product contains shea butter, which is brilliant at hydrating your skin and it also a natural ingredient too. When I want to really unwind in the shower and feel cosy I will always use this product. It feels so creamy on your body, compared to a bubbly body wash, and left my skin feeling so soft and moisturised. I love that you can get away with not moisturising after your shower, but I still do especially as I actually got a decent tan this year (finally!)
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish
I love using a body scrub every few weeks, as it’s a great way to get rid of the dead skin cells and make your skin feel incredibly soft. My skin usually doesn’t get too dry so I can get away with quite a gentle body polish and this one from Soap & Glory is perfect. I really like the way this scrub has small granule of sugar, which dissolve as you rub it on your skin. This body polish is pack full with sea salt, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder and shea butter making it amazing for your skin and smell incredible. If you want something more intense then look at maybe a body scrub rather than a body polish.
Champneys Summer Dream Lotion
Finally onto my current favourite body lotion. Moisturising after a shower or bath is so really important, as it locks moisture into your skin, which you really need when the colder weather starts setting in. During the winter I will always use body butter, with my favourite ones from The Body Shop and Sanctuary, but during the autumn month, I tend to still use a body lotion. My current favourite is one by Champneys, it’s quite a summery scent but I just love it. I really like that this body lotion is quite thick and sinks into my skin really quickly, I hate having greasy skin after moisturising. I love waking up in the morning to smooth arms and legs knowing that my skin won’t feel irritated by the cold weather.
Let me know what you Autumn body care must-haves are, I would love to know.
Hope you enjoyed this blog post and have a lovely weekend!
