If you don’t already know I love Autumn so here are a few pieces that are must haves for me during these months.
Bobble Hats
I love wearing a hat when the weather starts getting cold, like it eventually is now. I have always found styling a bobble hat difficult, but now that I have a bob cut I am loving it. I love the colour of this hat and the furry bobble top, it goes with literally any outfit. This hat is made from 10% wool, which I would usually avoid as I find wool can be really itchy, but this hat is so soft and not itchy at all.
Nail Varnish
I always gravitate to darker colours in the Autumn with my favourites being burgundy, plum and reds. I think wearing a darker nail helps add a statement to your outfit and also fits into the Autumn colour pallet from nature. This nail varnish, from Champneys, is a gorgeous burgundy colour that I currently can’t get enough off. I love that Champney nail varnishes will stay perfect for about 5 days before the usual small chips start to appear.
Lipstick
I love wearing a deep red lip in the Autumn but I also loving wearing a nude lip too. If I am wearing a dark coloured top then I will tend to stick to a nude lip, as it helps balance out the look. I think nudes are perfect for any season but it is also a change from always wearing a dark lip. I tend to stick to a matt lip, whether its lipstick or lip gloss, as it always seems more autumnal.
Candles
One of the first things I do when I get home is light a candle. My current favourite at the moment is Apple Blossom by DW, which I picked it up in TK Max. I love having a candle flickering away in the background whilst I snuggle up on the sofa or settle down for an evening of blogging or Youtube editing. There is something so comforting about having a candle alight, I was brought up with a log burner at home and loved it.
Cosy Blanket
I get so cold in the Autumn/Winter months that a cosy warm blanket has to be one of my essentials. I have two blankets that I switch between, one being a knitted grey thrown and the other a super soft fleece blanket. They are both so snuggly and I love using them whilst laying on the sofa or on top of my duvet when I am snuggled in bed. If you get cold at night then throwing a blanket over your duvet will help keep you toasty all night long.
So there are my Autumn essentials, what are yours? I love coming home and making my flat really cosy and ready for a relaxing evening.
I have just uploaded an Autumn Fashion Haul over on my youtube channel, if you fancy see what I picked up them click here.
Have a lovely weekend!

I’d also add a cozy scarf which works as a blanket as well 😀
