Top 3 Drugstore Make-up Brands

As you all know I am obsessed with beauty and I buy a lot of it from the drugstore. I thought I would share with you my top three drugstore brands and some of the products from those brands I love. So make yourself comfy, grab a cup of tea and  lets get started.

Rimmel London

Sculpting Palette by Kate in 002 Coral Glow

This palette consists of a highlighter, Bronzer and blush and comes in different shades depending on your skin colour. I love that I can do my makeup in the morning and not have to dig out an individual blush, highlighter and bronzer as it’s all in one palate. This product is also perfect for traveling and these products are all pressed powders.

Stay Matte Long lasting Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent

This is one of my favourite products and also one of the cheapest too. I always powder after doing my base, as I find it really helps set everything in place and keep the oils at bay. I love how easy and mess free this product is, I use the translucent shade. You don’t need a lot of this product and it doesn’t leave your face looking powdery or cakey, which I love. It is also the perfect size to chuck in your makeup bag or travel with.

Lasting Finished by Kate Lipstick in 08

I am a bit of a nude lipstick hoarder and I added this one to my collection about a year ago. I really enjoy wearing this lipstick in the winter, its more of a darker nude with a matt finish. I love the formulation of these lipstick, despite their matt finish they aren’t drying at all. I love how this lipstick will last all day, no matter what you eat or drink, and they also don’t have the really strong cosmetic smell that other brands do. I think these lipsticks are well worth purchasing and there are plenty of shades to choose from.

Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in 063 Eastend Snob

The last product is from Rimmel. I never use to wear lip liners until it came to my wedding makeup trials. I wore the Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Boy, which is a sheer nude and meant I needed a lip liner underneath to even out my lip colour before applying it. Eastend Snob Lip liner is the perfect ‘your lips but better colour’, it’s also a great dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner. I love how easy it is to apply to the lips and the applicator is like a lipstick, meaning you don’t need to sharpen it. This lips liner is super long lasting and feels really nice on the lips. I love layering this under sheer lipsticks or even wearing it on its own for a more natural look.

Bourjois Paris

Healthy Mix Foundation in no.50 Rose Ivory

This has become on of my favourite drugstore foundation, I just love everything about it so much I wore it on my wedding day. I like going for quite a natural look that overall looks fresh and dewy, which this certainly does. I like that this foundation is really buildable but never feels heavy or cakey on the skin. It is quite a runny consistency, which I find makes it so easy to apply and blends into a flawless base. I love applying this with a beauty blender as it gives an even finish with a lovely fresh look. This foundation is really long lasting and doesn’t crease in any lines or dry skin, which is fantastic.

Radiance Reveal Conceler in 01 Ivory

When it comes to a good high coverage concealer I always reach for this one. I normally only conceal under my eyes and around my chin and this product is perfect for that. I love that it is a liquid consistency that has a sponge adaptor. I like applying this product with a beauty blender as it means you can get into all the hard to reach areas and really blend it in. This product sits really nicely over foundation and blends so easily, making applying it really quick and easy. I picked this up in 01 which means it is amazing under the eyes to get rid of any darkness and really brightens my eye area up.

Makeup Revolution London

Beyond Flawless Ultra Eyeshadows

I am obsessed with this palette as it is so versatile and can be used all year round. I love that all 32 eye shadows are colours that I would use and there is a lovely balance of matt and shimmer colours too. I find this palette is used on a weekly basis and is great for traveling with as the packaging is sturdy, it has a massive mirror and it has all the colours you could ever need. The pigment of these eyeshadows are amazing and you hardly get any fallout from them, which is a winner for me.

I love makeup revolution as a brand their products are really good quality and their prices are amazing. I really like that some of these shades are excellent dupes of the naked palettes.

I hope you enjoyed reading what my top three drugstore makeup brands are, I would love to know what yours are?

Have a lovely weekend!
