Christmas Day Makeup

Christmas is only a few days away so I thought I would share with you the key make-up products I will be using on Christmas Day. There are so many different looks you could go for, I like going for more of a dramatic eye and keep the lips quite natural. On Christmas day I love having a quick and easy make-up look, as I don’t want to be spending ages doing my make-up. So lets begin.

Bourjois Paris: Healthy Mix Foundation

When it comes to my base I always end up going back to the Healthy Mix foundation by Bourjois. It’s a lovely buildable foundation that works amazingly with dry and combination skin, which is perfect for my skin type. I think its the perfect natural base that will work for any makeup look.

Glossier: Stretch Concealer

When it comes to concealer, the Glossier stretch concealer stands out from the rest of me. I love how light and easy to apply it is, as you just apply it with your fingers, making blending so easy. The overall look is flawless but very natural making it perfect for under the eyes but also covering up blemishes too.

Glossier: Cloud Paint in Dusk

Moving onto cheeks I have recently been loving every thing cream so it’s no surprise that I will be using the Cloud Paint in Dusk. This products is so quick and easy to use, as it’s like a bronzer and blush combined. I usually just apply this with my finger and then go over with a beauty blender to makes sure its all blended in. I love that this product gives your cheeks a bit of colour and contour with out them looking over done, my perfect Christmas day look.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Dusty Mauve

For eyes I like going a bit more dramatic, without being too dark, so the Cream Shadow Stick from Bobbi Brown is ideal. Dusty Mauve is a gorgeous bronzy lavender colour, with a lovely shimmer running through it. I like apply quite a lot of it straight onto my eyelid and then blending the edges with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Then I will normally just leave my eyelids but if I wanted a more smokey look then I would add a darker colour in my crease and highlight the inner corner of my eye. Using a shadow stick is so easy and very versatile, you can always blend it out so you can’t really mess up your eye look.

Marc Jacobs: Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

If you really want to make your eyes pop then pop on some mascara. I have recently been loving the Velvet Noir Mascara by Mark Jacob and love how volumizing it is with out making my eyelashes clumpy. I naturally have quite long curly lashes so I always look for a mascara that adds some volume and definition.

Rimmel London: Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob

If you are going for a nude lip colour then I find using a lip liner is a great product to make sure your lips are defined. I love the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip liner, they are really creamy and pigmented with great longevity. Eastend Snob is the perfect match for my lip colour, making it ideal under a sheer lipstick.

Chanel: Rouge Coco Shine in Boy

To finish off the look I will be using my Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Boy. This is one of my favourite nude lipsticks. Boy is quite a sheer pink colour, hence why I use a lip liner, which also has a shimmer running through it. I love how hydrating and pretty this lipstick looks, it gives a beautiful natural lip.

Hopefully you enjoyed reading all about the make-up products I will be using on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas!
