Capturing Memories with Printiki

When I was younger one of my favourite things to do was going through my parents photo albums and look at pictures of our family holidays. I love looking back at photographs and remembering some of the amazing adventures I have had. Printing photographs and making a photo albums is becoming less popular, as everyone has their photographs saved on their computer or phones, but there is something so nice about looking at a physical photograph and sharing it with those closest to you.

Recently Printiki contacted me asking if I want to work with them to promote the ease of printing memories, Printiki are an online printing website where you can print photographs in lots of sizes and styles, make photo books, posters or even have your favourite photo printed on a canvas. Printiki is so easy and convenient with shipping either next day or in 2-3 woking days.

For me I love putting together Photo albums by hand so decided to pick up  30 square M prints with a white boarder, as they are so versatile in their use. I printed out a variety of different photographs from our wedding day to some of our favourite holidays. I have a few ideas on how I want to use these prints and for me the Printiki Instagram page has really inspired me.

I want to pop a few photographs in a Brass and Glass frame, which you can see through, and make a little collage of memories. I think it’s really nice to have a few photographs out on show, we already have bank of 6 13″ x 16″ prints from our wedding day in our lounge and it just brings the space to life and makes it feel homely.

Another idea I have is to make a photo wall in our bedroom. I have seen so many photographs of people blue tacking photographs to their wall either above their bed or in a corner of the room (which I am obsessed with.) It’s a great way to really personalise your room and have a space where you can remember all the great times in your life.

I love the quality of these prints, you can tell they are high quality and the colour is perfect too. I got them printed on glossy paper as I think smaller prints always look better with a glossy finish. I have always printed my photographs 6″x4″ or 5″x7″ but there is something so refreshing about a square print. The square print has quite a retro feel, and is perfect if you want to print off some of your instagram photos.

If you want some inspiration and ideas of how others have use Prinitki then why not check out their Instagram and check out some of my photos on there too.
