March Favourites

I can’t quite believe it is already April, I swear I say this every month but this year seems to be flying past. Last month I didn’t wear much makeup, the snow dried my skin so I mainly concentrated on Skincare pieces with some of them turning into my favourites for the month.

Beauty

With the weather being warm one minute and snowing the next, my skin was struggling and I found my old moisturiser was just too heavy. I was also fining my t-zone was starting to look a bit oily so I decided to pick up the Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser and give it a go. I have only been using this for a few weeks now and it has transformed the way my skin looks and feels. I love that this moisture is a cream texture, as most oil balancing moisturisers are a gel formulation. My skin feels hydrated, even on the colder days, but doesn’t look oily or greasy at all. This moisturiser has really helped to balance the unnecessary oils on my skin, without leaving my skin feeling tight and dehydrated.  I am so impressed.

Moving onto fragrance and I have been obsessed with Loccitane Neroli & Orchidee Eau de Toilette for the last month. I have been wearing this perfume on a daily basis and I’m obsessed with the scent. I really like that the perfume feels quite cosy but has notes of Neroli and Orchidee to make it feel like Spring too. I love L’Occitane Perfumes they last all day, smell incredible and aren’t too expensive either.

Hands

For me hand cream is an essential and the Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream has been a must this month. This hand cream is lovely and thick, leaving your hands feeling silky soft for hours. It smells of Orange Blossom, which I love, it’s such a spring scent. I have never tried a Caudalie Hand Cream before but I will definitely be buying more in the future, they are definitely worth the money.

I love painting my nails and I really enjoyed keeping my nails very natural with the Essie Ballet Slipper. This colour is such a pretty pinky nude, which makes your nails look really healthy and natural. I love Essie nail polish formulations, I normally apply three layers of the Ballet Slippers and it will last me a week before any chips start to appear, which is brilliant. I love that you can wear this colour all year round but my favourite time to wear it is definitely Spring / Summer.

Lifestyle

My finally favourite this month is a lifestyle piece by Bliss Prints UK and I am completely obsessed with there gorgeous prints. I actually worked with them back in February and was kindly sent two prints of my choice and I absolutely love them. I have them both framed and the “Find the Beauty in Everyday” Print now hangs above my chest of draws. I think this quote is perfect for every bedroom, I thinks its so important to make the most out of everyday no matter what you are doing.

Hopefully you enjoyed seeing what I have been loving throughout March. What were your favourite products through March? Have you switched up you Skincare and Makeup items for Spring yet?

If you want to see all the new pieces I have picked up for my Spring Capsule Wardrobe then check out my new video New Spring Pieces and why not subscribe to see more.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and see you Monday!
