It’s nice to treat ourselves once in a while with something that is a bit more high end adding a touch of luxury to our lives. There are so many ways you can add a bit of luxury into your lives without having to splurge every month. I thought I would share with you some of my favourite luxuries. Remember to celebrate the small things in life!
Starting off with my favourite area, which is always beauty, and there are lot of ways you can add some luxury without breaking the bank. The one thing I love about high end beauty products is you normally only need a small amount of the product, such that they seem to last forever. For me my bath is where I like to spend on high end products, a bath really helps relax me so its worth spending a bit more money on. For Bath oils I am obsessed with The White Company Spa Relax & Restore Bath Shots. There are so many benefits in using bath oils. I love how amazing these two smell, and they leave your skin feeling incredibly soft.
I like to occasionally treat myself to some luxury body products, whether thats buying them when theres a promotion on or just buying something when I go shopping. One of my favourite luxury brands is L’Occitane and I love their Gel Douche Relaxant, which smells like a field of lavender has been poured into your bath and it creates amazing bubbles. I have always loved L’Occitane body products, hand creams and perfumes and I love how many different scents they have to choose from.
Another area in beauty that I like buying a few luxury pieces is skincare. I have recently decided to add some more luxury items into my skincare routine and my skin has been loving it. I am currently using the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, which is quite pricey at £31 but I absolutely love the formulation. Cleansers and moisturiser are the key steps in my skincare routine I normally lean towards more high-end products. I find these products tend to last ages so its worth the price.
The moisturiser I have gone back too is the Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Oil-Free Moisture Cushion, which I used all through last summer and became obsessed by it. This Dr Dennis Gross Moisturiser is the perfect formulation for anyone who gets quite oily skin in the Summer and it has transformed my skin look and feeling. I have found investing in a high end moisturiser really pays off mainly due to their ingredients and tailored formulations for different skin types/concerns.
So as you can see there are lots of ways you can add a touch of luxury into your beauty routine without having to break the bank. The luxury items I pick up tend to be ones I have wanted for ages so its a massive treat when I finally purchase them. If you can’t afford the items you want at full price them why not wait until they are on sale or with a good discount on.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and I will see you again Friday!
