I love wearing jewellery, it’s the perfect way to finish off an outfit and add a touch of detail. I have recently decided it’s time to start investing some more money into jewellery, so that they last longer and I wear them a lot more often. I though I would share with you my favourite silver jewellery pieces, some of which are more affordable than others.
When it comes to jewellery I tend to always wear silver, it’s a metal which goes with any outfit and matches my wedding ring. I love wearing quite simple pieces that I can layer and either dress up or down, depending on the outfit. I have split this jewellery edit into a few sections to share with you some of my staple silver jewellery pieces.
Everyday Pieces
The great thing about simple silver jewellery is you can wear it everyday to finish off an outfit or dress it up for a evening event. I tend to wear silver earrings and then wear a silver necklace too. My current favourite is the Sterling Silver Sparkle Moon Pendant Necklace from Accessories . I love how delicate and simple this pendant is, whilst with a touch of sparkle. This is a perfect example of a necklace that can be worn with a plain t-shirt or a gorgeous ball gown, so versatile. This pendant is made form sterling silver and is hanging on a silver chain, so it will last and keep its colour for years to come.
My next everyday piece is another necklace, this time by Anna Calvert – Long Link Necklace. I absolutely love this necklace because form a distance it looks so simple but when you look at it closer you can see that it has been hand crafted and finished to a rough yet perfect look. The pendant has tiny little scratches in it add some texture, which I love. I tend to wear this necklace with plainer outfits as it has a 24″ chain so it sits around the bottom of your diaphragm. I love having a long necklace in my collection, it’s great for when you want to add some interest to a plain outfit.
Stunning Occasion Piece
When it comes to Weddings and evening events I like to have a few pieces in my collection that are still simple but very elegant, to suit the event. I have two pieces which I absolutely adore with one of them definitely being more of an investment piece.
I recently picked up a stunning 14ct White gold bangle with Cubic Zirconia diamonds set into the bracelet. This was a little more expensive than the other items but it was well worth every penny for how stunning it looks. This bracelet is so elegant and simplistic, with the diamonds stealing the show. For me investing in a classic piece of jewellery means I can wear it for years to come and it will never go out of fashion. I can’t wait to get lots of wear out of this piece and I know it will last for years to come.
I always wear earrings so it makes sense to have a pair that are more of a statement for Occasional, whilst still being elegant and simple. For me these earrings are perfect, I love that they are a beautiful tear drop, it draws the eye down to your neck without drawing attention away from your outfit. These are also not too heavy, so I can wear them all day without counting down the hours until I can take them off. Whenever I wear these earrings I feel so elegant and confident, which is why I chose to wear them on my wedding day. I bought these from my local jewellers years ago, they weren’t very expensive either. You don’t always have to splurge on Occasion jewellery, the most important thing is how you feel in it.
So if you want to add a touch of glamour and sparkle into your life consider using jewellery to brighten up any outfit. The price of beautiful silver hardware like this can sometime put people off buying beautiful jewellery, but as you can seen, you can get stunning jewellery from a variety of price ranges. Have a look in your local jewellers during a sale and its always worth popping into Accessories to see what they have to offer. Some jewellery wont last as long, but look for sterling silver or silver plated jewellery and you will be in for a treat.
Have a lovely weekend!
