One of the things that always gets put to the bottom of my list is a haircut. I tend to get a cut every 6 months so I am continuously switching up my hairstyle and this month it was time for a change.
I was recently invited to Leah Durrant Hair salon for a cut and blow dry, which I was so excited for. I have been going to the same hairdressers for about 10 years, so I was excited to see how it differed to Leah Durrant’s Hair salon. I always get a bit nervous trying a new hairdressers as you get use to having the same hairdresser who knows exactly what you want, but I took the chance. I had such an amazing experience at Leah Durrant so I thought I would share it with you all and if you live near Chertsey then I highly recommend you going and taking a look.
Leah Durrant Hair Salon & Beauty Re:treat is located in the heart of Chertsey, with the hair salon about a 30 second walk for the beauty retreat. The salon has won awards in the hairdressing and beauty industry and has been a finalists in many awards too.
The first thing that really stood out to me about the salon was the beautiful exterior, the building is painted grey so it really stands out from all the other shops on the high street. I love that there are two bay trees either side of the door, it makes the salon feel really welcoming. Inside the salon is realy light and airy, with an open layout, which really makes the most of the space. The salon isn’t massive, which I like as it felt more welcoming and inviting.
All the staff where really friendly and I had Harley cut my hair, she did an excellent job. One of my favourite parts about going to the hairdressers is the head massage and I have to say this head massage was one of the best I have ever had. I love the cut Harley gave me, I wanted a long bob with a few layers cut through and it was perfect. I really struggle getting volume into my hair so Harley gave me some product recommendations and put some rollers in my hair to show me how you can easily lift your roots to create natural bounce really quickly.
I had such a great haircut and my hair is now so easy to style, I hardly need to do anything with it in the morning. I definitely feel I have found a hairstyle I want to keep, so I’m going to have to go to the hairdresser more frequently it seems. The great thing is Chertsey isn’t too far away so I think I have now found myself a new hairdressers.
If you live near Chertsey then definitely take a look at this salon, their haircut’s are really well priced ranging from £39-£45 and it was so relaxing.
