Incorporating oils into your morning/evening skincare routine will change your skin forever. I started using facial oils in my evening skincare routine about 3 years ago, but never really found an oil I truly loved and worked for my skin. I always used to stay clear of oils and I was terrified it would make my skin super greasy, it doesn’t.
One thing people don’t realise is if you have oily skin you should use facial oils to counterbalance it, it sounds wrong but trust me it works. If you have oily skin then your skin will be overproducing oils to compensate for the loss of moisture, as oily skin tends to be dehydrated. By using oil it will help balance out the oils in your skin and help keep breakouts at bay. The oils will also add moisture to your skin without clogging up your pores.
Everyone’s skin will react differently to oils so you need to find one that compliments your skin type and achieves the results you are looking for. I used the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate for ages and found it was really good for me in the winter months as it added that extra boost of moisture my skin needed. I have also tried and enjoyed using the Votary Facial Oil Rose Maroc and Sandalwood and the Avocadeau Avo-infusion Oil.
I have recently been trying out a couple of new oils and my current favourite has to be the Skiniravana Pure Bliss Delicate Beauty Oil. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and really notice a difference in how my skin feels and looks. I like to use this oil and night before bed, as you can use it instead of a moisturiser, and I wake up with my skin looking hydrated and oil-free. I have also found that during the day my skin is less oily.
Skiniravana is a brand I hadn’t heard of before but this product has really impressed me. This beauty oil can be used as a moisturiser morning and evening or you can use it as more of a treatment. I love applying this in the evening and massaging the oils into my skin for about 2 minutes, it’s like a mini ‘at home’ facial. The oil is made from 95% organic ingredients and is organic and cruelty-free, which makes it a winner in my book. I love how delicate this product is, making it great for sensitive skin, it’s so delicate it can be used on children over 6 months.

Hey Steph I have sensitive skin so you caught my attention with the Pure Bliss oil by Skinirvana. The oil I use on my sensitive combination skin is rosehip seed oil, it’s so gentle and soothing to my breakouts or irritation to trying new products. I really like adding oil after using the Aztec Healing Clay because it dries my skin out. Adding a oil revives my skin with nourishment 🙂

I never thought of adding oil to Aztec Healing Clay, I always find clay is really drying and irritating sometimes. If you ever want to try a new oil I would highly recommend this oil, its amazing x
Thanks for the recommendation ?
