With Winter here and my skin starting to play up I have been switching up a few of the skincare products I use to help compact this skin concerns. I like to incorporate a few new products ever so often, and also bring out my old skincare loves too. My skin has been craving moisture and some sort of blemish control, so my skincare routine has been changed with these needs in mine.

Starting off with cleanser and I have been using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel  every morning and night. I love using gel cleanser as they efficiently clean the skin without stripping it of it’s natural moisture. This cleanser is also so quick to use in the morning and it helps keep my breakout at bay too. The La Roache-Posay purifying range is brilliant for anyone suffering from combination/oily skin.

I have never used a eye cream religiously, I never found that did a lot and thought they were a bit pointless at my age. I was definitely wrong! I have been using the Lumene Hydrating Eye Gel for about three months now and am loving this product. The product is a gel formulation, so its very light and cooling under the eyes, which feels heavenly. I have found it gotten rid of my darkness, under the eye, and keep my eyes keeping hydrating and a lot less puffy. I just can’t get enough of this.

I have been incorporating a lot of serums into my skincare routine recently, with the first being the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum.  One thing I always forget to do is exfoliate, it always just slips my mind. I like to manually exfoliate one and week and then use this the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum two nights a week. I have notice quite a difference in how my skin has been looking and feeling. I have found my skin is smoother and my blemishes are starting to reduce too, which is fantastic.

Hydrating your skin is just as important as exfoliating, which is why my trusty The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 has been brought out again. I have been using this product for well over a year and find it doesn’t wondering for you mind. My skin can get very dehydrated in the cold winter months so this products is a crucial for my skin to remain smooth and hydrated. I have also found that the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum can dry out so used this product together has really worked for me.

Another products I have been loving to help keep my hormonal spots at bay is the Caudalie Vinopure Blemish Control Infusion Serum. I really struggle with breakout on my chin, which seem to always scar, and this serum has made a noticeable difference. I use this serum every morning and evening , you only need a small amount as it is quite runny. I can see myself using this product for years to come.

Finally onto a new moisturiser find. My old moisturiser has run out so I thought I would give a new one ago. After talking to a lovely  girl in Space NK they suggested I gave the Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream

ago. I have heard so much about Sunday Riley, so I now have a little sample of this cream that I am giving ago. I have found the gel moisturiser really work for my skin type and this one is a dream. It is like a creamy gel which sinks into your skin quickly and has a very subtle scent. I will definitely be picking the full size version of this as it’s just so good.

I would love to know what you last skincare purchases have been? Did you manage to pick up any steals in Black Friday.
