I love buying new beauty products every couple of months but imagine if you can get the quality of high-end makeup but at a fraction of the price. Well if you haven’t heard of Beauty Pie then keep reading. A couple of months ago, after reading so many amazing reviews, I decided to give Beauty Pie a go.
Beauty Pie is a membership programme, where you pay a set membership fee and are then given a spending limit, where you can buy all the beauty products at cost price. Your spending limit is dependant on your membership cost. I tried the £10.00 a month membership, allowing me to spend a maximum of £100 of products at retail price. This means I can spend up to my spending limit at retail price and only pay a fraction of the product cost (usually 85% cheaper) and the monthly membership fee. There is a huge variety of different products from skincare to Makeup and Candles. To give you an idea of how much you can save a
Über Volume Boost Mascara RRP £20 and you pay £3.36 (such an amazing saving.)
There are a couple of reasons why I love beauty pie. Firstly it’s an amazing price for luxury beauty products, as you are only paying the cost price. Secondly, after using these products for a couple of months I can say that the quality is amazing and the packaging feels really high end. All these products have been sourced from manufacturers of high-end beauty brands, meaning quality is excellent.

Skincare
As I mentioned earlier I have been using beauty pie for three months now and I have tried to test a range of their products to really see what products really stand out for me. Skincare wise I have purchased the Japan Fusion Pure Transforming Cleanser, Super Retinol (+ Vitamin C) Night Renewal Moisturizer and Super Healthy Skin Ultralight UVA/UVB SPF25.
Skincare wise the products that have really stood out have to be the Super Healthy Skin Ultralight UVA/UVB SPF25. I am forever trying to find a suncream that isn’t greasy and is really light on the skin and this one has ticked all the boxes. I picked up this product because I was purchasing the Super Retinol (+ Vitamin C) Night Renewal Moisturizer, these two products are the perfect duo. Suncream is something you should use every day, even in the winter, as the UVA/UVB rays will damage your skin over the years. I find this suncream is perfect as the last step in my skincare routine, even if I don’t use the retinol the day before.
If you are on the hunt for a great retinol then you need to give this product a go, Super Retinol (+ Vitamin C) Night Renewal Moisturizer. I have always been a bit scared of retinol as it can leave your skin quite irritated and red at the beginning. This retinol product is different from all the others I have seen on the market. By using a lower amount of retinol on a daily basis your skin is less likely to go through the irritated and peeling stage. This product also has the added bonus of Vitamin C, which is another great ingredient for your skin.

Makeup
Moving onto makeup, where nearly everything I have tried has really impressed me. One thing I have found about Beauty Pie’s makeup is their products cater to a number of different looks. I have found a lot of their bases are really buildable and work perfectly for a very natural look, which is me all over.
Starting off with the All-in-Wonder Illuminating Primer in Nude Glow, which I love to use as a really natural base. This product has a surprising amount of coverage with a beautifully dewy finish, making it perfect as a light foundation if you want. I picked this up in Nude Glow as it matches my skin colour perfectly, but I can imagine it would suit a range of skin tones, especially if you are using it under your foundation. This product is really creamy and doesn’t clingy to any dry patches you may have, which is especially great for the winter months. I now use this instead of foundation and then add the Incredibur Concealer in 100 (Pink Undertone) to any areas that need a bit more coverage.
I find it so useful having all my powder products in one palette so when I saw the One Palette Wonder I grabbed on. This palette has three Eyeshadow, a Highlighter, a Bronzer and two Blushes. This palette is really versatile and can easily take you from day to night. The powders are finely milled and feel almost creamy when applied to the skin, which means they are so easy to blend and work with. If you are not into highlighter then you can always use it as an eyeshadow to give you eyelids a gorgeous wash of shimmer. This palette has really good pigment and I have not noticed any fallout from the eyeshadows either, which is brilliant.
I seem to always gravitate to lip products, they are such an easy way to make it look like you made an effort when you have minimal makeup on. One of my top picks from Beauty Pie has to be the Lip Colour Balm Stick in Baby Bare. The Lip Colour Balm Sticks are a cross between a lip balm and a glossy lip crayon. This product is lovely and moisturising, whilst leaving your lips with a gorgeous looking sheen.
Something I was missing in my lipstick stack was a deep burgundy red so I decided to pick up the Future Lipstick Luxe Shine in Raisin D’etre. This lipstick is a gorgeous deep autumnal red that looks so different depending on the lighting. The Luxe Shine formulation means the lipsticks are lovely and glossy, making the deep colour not as harsh as a matt would look, which I really enjoy. These lipsticks also smell of vanilla, which I don’t really mind as it’s not too overpowering.
Overall I have really enjoyed all the products so far from Beauty Pie. I am currently in the process of placing my third order, as you have to be a member for a minimum of 3 months, but on average I have been able to purchase £100 beauty products for around $30 (including the £10 a month for membership.) All in all, you are able to purchase amazing quality high-end beauty products for a fraction of the price. Well worth giving it a go in my opinion!
Let me know if you have tried Beauty Pie, I’d love to know what you thoughts are!
