I love sharing with you my current beauty favourites but I thought this month I would switch it up and share my currently pink beauty favourites. I was really surprised how many pink products I have in my beauty stash, I suppose it’s a popular branding colour. I have a bit of a mix of products this month including a few body favourites too.
Make-up
I don’t really wear a lot of makeup in the summer, especially when we have heatwaves, as I think it’s just better for your skin. When I do reach for makeup I prefer creams over powders, as they give more of a natural finish. Base wise I like to put on some concealer rather than a foundation and then a touch of Cloud Paint in Dusk from Glossier on my cheeks. Cloud Paint is the only blusher I really use in the summer and Dusk is a gorgeous hybrid between a bronzer and a blush. I like to blend this product in with my fingertips, allowing the heat of my fingers to help blend in the Cloud Paint quicker.
For lips I am currently obsessed with the Tinted Lip Balm in Nude from Ted Baker. I hate been having dry lips in the summer so I’m always apply a lip balm or a tinted lip balm. I’ve talked about Ted Baker Tinted Lip Balms before but I’m always so impressed at how much pigment they have. They are so comfortable to wear, as the balm has a glossy finish, with a good stay power too. Nude is a very light colour, which I think works really well with a tan or dabbed over the top of a dark matt lipstick. I also have this lipstick in a pillar box red, which I love wearing in the winter months.

Hair Care
Hair products never really make it into my favourites but I have to mention my new Tangle Teezer Wet Brush. I’ve never really cared about my hairbrush until I tried the Tangle Teezer Wet Brush, it’s amazing. I have quite fine hair so never really saw the point in this brush as my hair doesn’t really get tangled but I was wrong. I love how this brush has two levels of bristles, making it kind to your scalp and gently brushes your hair with minimal hairs left on the brush. I have to admit one of the reasons I picked it up was the colour.
Body Care
Over the summer months I seem to always up my body care routine, especially as my legs are on out more often. One products I alway use before going on holiday is a body scrub with my favourite being Original Coffee Scrub from Frank Body. Frank and Body is a brand that is everywhere now and they have a whole range of body scrubs and other body products. If you like coffee then you need to get this scrub, just a heads up though it goes everywhere when you rinse it off. I find using a body scrub helps buff off dead skin and allows your natural tan to be more even and glowy.
For body wash I have been treating myself to the Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Bath and Shower gel from Molton Brown. This scent is so summery and the smell lasts on your skin even after you wash it off. I only use a small amount of body wash so sometimes its nice to buy one thats a little more luxurious. After my shower I’m trying to use body lotion everyday, as it has so many benefits for your skin and keeps your tan going. One trick I have found is to buy a body lotion you love the smell off, your then more likely to use it daily. I’m currently using the Summer Dream Rewarding Body Lotion by Champneys, which to me smells like summer in a pot with all its fruity notes.
So those are my pink favourites this month. Have you tried any of these?
