Latest in Beauty Box | Summer 2019

There are so many beauty boxes out there that it can be quite hard to choose between them all. I was recently approach by Latest in Beauty and asked if I would like to receive the ‘Summer 19 the Beauty Heroes’ Box and I thought it would be the perfect chance to really see what you get. I have never purchase a beauty box so this was the perfect opportunity to really see if they are worth the money.

First impressions I was amazed at how many products you get for £24, the box is worth £138. If you went into store you would only get a couple of these products for £24. I am really impressed with the variety of beauty products you receive from a whole host of different brands.

Here’s a list of all the product you receive in the box along with a leaflet of what all the products are:

  • Sukin – Rosehip Enriching Night Cream (Full Size)
  • Sportfix – Cool Down Primer & Recovery Gel (Full Size)
  • Ciate – Bamboo Bonzer
  • Studio 10 – Brow Lift Perfecting Liner (Full Size
  • Lord & Berry – Ultimate Lip Liner in Shade 3038 Mandarin
  • Sumita Cosmetics – Eyeliner Pencil in Grey (Full Size)
  • OPI – Nail Lacquer ‘Pump Up the Volumne’
  • Umberto Giannini – Pool Proof Leave – in Hair Protection Cream (full size)
  • System Professional – Solar Sun Oil
  • Weleda – Sea Buckthorn Body Wash
  • St. Tropez – Gradual Tan Watermelon Infusion
  • Yardley London – English Bluebell Deodorising Body Fragrance
  • Invisibobble – Single Waver

As you can see there are a whole host of products and they are all perfect for the gorgeous hot Summer weather. I recently went on holiday to Turkey and took a few of these products with me to give them a little test. I’m still trying some of the products out but I thought I would share with you my top 3 picks from this box.

My first pick has to be the Sportfix Cool Down Primer & Recovery Gel. I was a bit sceptical as to whether this would work or not so I took it on holiday to see how it coped in mid 30’s temperatures. I applied this before we went out in the evening and was impressed with how much it cools you down and stops you from getting bright red cheeks in the heat. This product is a white lightweight cream that I applied all over my face, it does go very cold on your face for about 10 mins and then it calms down. This product would be perfect if you go to the gym in the morning and then off to work or to run errands.

One thing I hate when on holiday is how tangled my hair become after coming out of the pool or sea and that’s why Umberto Giannini – Pool Proof Leave – in Hair Protection Cream is my next pick. This products acts as a leave in conditioner, that doesn’t look greasy, and helps protect your hair from the damage of chlorine, salt and sun exposure. I applied this ever morning and by the evening my hair wasn’t tangled or feeling dry like it would have ordinarily been. I also love the smell of this product.

I’m a bit of a sucker for Bronzer so my last pick has to be the Ciate – Bamboo Bronzer. This product is so cute, as it’s a travel size, making it ideal for packing in your holiday makeup bag. Powders are great for when you are away, really easy to swipe on and blend quickly. This bronzer has oil-controlling ingredients in it so you look glowey whilst staying shine-free, who wouldn’t want that!

Like any beauty box you might get one or two products you wouldn’t ordinarily pick up but the fun of this is that you might find some favourites that you wouldn’t have ordinarily picked up.

Have you signed up to a beauty box subscription or just like to buy special editions?
