How is it already 2020, where has the past year gone! In 2019 I took a couple of breaks from blogging but I am so excited to get stuck back into it this year. I have a feeling 2020 is going to be an amazing year!
Even though I haven’t blogged much I’ve still been enjoying discovering new beauty pieces and enjoying some much loved make-up pieces. I’ve put together a list of my favourite beauty pieces from the last year with Beauty Pie making a big appearance, shows hows much I love their products.
Starting off with skincare the Beauty Pie Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleaner has become a staple in my everyday skincare routine. I love how clean my face feels after I have cleansed and it’s makes taking off make-up a breeze. The gel to oil texture also means your skin is left feeling hydrated rather than stripped of all it’s moisture. Hydration wise the stand out moisturiser for me has been the Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. This cream has kept my skin hydrated from the hottest summer days right through to frosty mornings, without a shiny complexion. This moisturiser is so lightweight on the skin, with the added benefit of enzymes to help brighten up your skins complexion. The only downside to this product is the price but I honestly think it’s worth every penny, especially as you only need a tiny amount.
I’ve tried to do more self-care, which my skin and hair have been loving. Masks are brilliant for self-care, they are so quick to do and give immediate results. I’ve been using the Oskia Renaissance Mask at least once a month to help brighten my skin. For hair I have loved using the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer every couple of months, when my hair is needing a little TLC. It’s amazing how soft your hair is after using this treatment and it lasts for weeks.
Moving onto makeup and this is where Beauty Pie has dominated the field, mainly because their makeup looks so natural on the skin. For a cheek and eye palette I have solely been using the Beauty Pie One Palette Wonder. The colours in this palette are gorgeous and it’s perfect for traveling. I really enjoy wearing makeup, even on minimal makeup days. I love having fluttery lashes with some added volume making the Beauty Pie Uber Volume Boost Mascara my favourite this year. It’s also so easy to take off at night, which is a must in my eyes.
I’ve only really worn a nude lip this year, it goes with any outfit and looks so natural. The two lipstick that I’ve worn a tone this year are Beauty Pie Shine Up Lip Colour Balm in Baby Bare and Revolution Soph Nude Lipstick in Cake.
What are you favourite beauty products from 2019?
