It’s been a while since I have shared my current skincare routine. I’m still using a few of my trusty favourites, that I have used for years. One thing I have found recently is that my skin has become very dry on my forehead and my chin is more prone to spots. I think this is mainly to do with pregnancy as it’s only started in the last couple of months. So to help with these two problems I have tried to stick to using the same products religiously rather than aggravating my skin by trying different products all the time.
My currently cleanser, I use every morning, is the Beauty Pie Japan Fusion Pure Transforming Cleanser. I had this cleanser sitting in my beauty stash for ages before finally giving it ago. I wish I used it earlier as my skin loves it. This cleanser is a gel to oil to milk, making removing makeup a dream. I use this cleanser as it great at removing all traces of make up and oils from your skin without stripping it off moisture. I also love that it doesn’t really have a scent, which means its great for days when my skin is a bit more sensitive.
Toner wise I really enjoy using the Caudalie Vinopure Clear Skin Purifying Toner just on my chin, as this is where my breakouts happen. As my skin is dry in some areas and combination in others I find just using this one my chin helps target the spot concerns without drying out the rest of my skin. I tend to just dab this on my skin with clean hands rather then using a cotton pad.

For eyes I am still using the Lumene Hydrating Eye Gel. I’ve been using this product for well over a year now and love it. I only use a tiny amount under my eye and it’s amazing how much of a difference this product has made. Since using this eye gel my under eyes are so much brighter and I hardly have any dark circles anymore. This pot has also lasted me a year so it’s really good value for money and the ingredients are really kind to your skin too.
For tackling my dry patches I have two serums I swear by. The first is a trusty favourite The Ordinary Hylauronic Acid 2% + B5. I’ve gone through countless pots of this product and wont touch any other Hylaurnoic acid. It’s so affordable and my skin literally drinks this product up. I apply this every morning and night religiously, through the Autumn Winter months, and it really does make a difference.
For days when my skin is really dry and irritated I will use the Odacite Pure Element Mo+P Serum Concentrate (Very Dry). I picked this up in Space NK and have been using it a couple of times a week at night. This oil is quite thick when you apply it to the skin and I’ve found the scent is quite strong, but it soon wears off. This serum has Moringa, Vitamin C & E oils to intensively hydrate and heal dry skin. I like to apply this a good hour before going to bed, so the oil can skin into my skin properly. The results in the morning are amazing, my skin feels soft and the dry patches have normally nearly disappeared.
For moisturiser I’ve been using the Sunday Riley Tidal , which I have already gone though two pots. It took me a while to find a moisturiser that I love, and which works for my skin all year round. With combination skin I find a gel is the best and with the hylaurnoic acid combined into the gel its the dream team for my skin. Don’t get me wrong this product is very pricey at £60 but a pot of cream will last me a good 9 months, if not longer, and its worth every penny in my eyes.
