Beauty Brands Worth the Splurge

Sometimes it’s worth investing a bit more money into your beauty products so let’s take a look at which ones I think are worth the extra money.

Dermalogica is a skincare brand I have used and loved for years. I love how simple all their products are and it’s easy to find the right range for you. I’ve tried quite a few Dermalogica skincare products and my top picks are the Daily Superfoliant and Precleanse Balm. I find all their products work wonder on my skin and they have a variety of different products to suit every skin type.

When it comes to problematic skin, in particularly skin prone to breakouts and scars, I have always reached for Caudalie’s Vinopure Collection. The Vinopure collection is a complete skincare routine to help purify your skin and control Blemishes with the help of Salicylic acid. I use the Caudalie Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum twice a day and it’s amazing how different my skin looks. I use to have a lot of scaring on my chin but with the help of this product, my blemishes are minimal now.

Sunday Riley is a brand lot’s of people are always suggesting and I can 100% see why. I fell in love with the brand with their Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. For £60 it’s an expensive face cream but it worked wonders on my skin. I have combination/dehydrated skin so having a gel formulation that’s packed full with hyaluronic acid was what my face was crying out for. You only need a tiny amount, so the product lasted me about 6 months. Their
C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum is also another great product.

For perfume, Jo Malone has always been my top pick. I was introduced to Jo Malone when I was looking for wedding perfumes and I have been a loyal customer ever since. They have a massive selection of perfumes that can be worn on their own or layer with other perfumes or body products. I wore Blackberry & Bay Shower Oil and Peony & Blush Suede Colone on my wedding day and the combination smelt dreamy. Their scents are so different from any other perfume I have smelt, and their customer service is flawless.

There isn’t a huge amount of high-end make-up brands I purchase from but Becca is an exception to this. A couple of years ago everyone was going crazy over the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter so I decided to give it a go myself (it’s 100% worth the hype!) The quality of Becca products is beautiful, especially their powders.

So there are my top 5 beauty brands worth the splurge. What would yours be?
