Bondi Sands Sunscreen Review

Sunscreen is so important to wear all year round, even during the winter months. In the winter I tend to use an SPF 20 and in the Summer I always wear an SPF 50. Bondi Sands has just released a new fragrance-free sunscreen that’s SPF 50+ with UVA & UBA protection. This sunscreen has been formulated to be lightweight, which I 100% agree on, and water resistance for 4 hours. I love that it is reef-friendly, just another way to help our planet out. This sunscreen has also been formulated in Australia, so it’s definitely been put through good testing with the temperatures they have.

I always struggle finding SPF 50 sunscreens that are a lightweight cream formulation. They always seem to be a thicker cream that takes a while to sink into the skin or leaves white marks, especially when coming out of the swimming pool. The Bondi Sands SPF 50+ Body Sunscreen Lotion literally glides onto the skin, leaving no tackiness or oiliness and no white marks insight.

For the face, the Bondi Sands SPF 50+ Face Sunscreen Lotion is again just as nice as the body lotion. You can use this face screen under makeup, which I enjoy doing in the evenings on holiday, as the suncream leaves no residue after applying. I love that this sunscreen has a very subtle suncream smell, just another bonus.

Overall I have discovered a new suncream brand that I can’t wait to start using daily. Have you tried Bondi Sands Sunscreen range before?

Steph x

Bondi Sands sounds like a great sunscreen! I love how you mentioned about how we need SPF protection all year round and not just in the warmer months! x

It really is, well worth looking into. It’s something lots of people have told me and it’s so true that SPF is needed all year round! I try and incorporate it into my morning skincare routine, that way I don’t forget to apply it x

This sunscreen sounds perfect! I also struggle with finding a sunscreen that is light weight enough to put on my face but still has good SPF protection. Sounds like this is it!

This sounds like a great suncream – I try to wear one as much as possible but hate the feeling of greasiness that they can leave behind as it breaks me out. I’ll have to give this one a try.

Yeah try this sunscreen out, it’s so light on the skin. It feels more like a moisturiser than a sunscreen x

    Hi Steph,

I am so happy you mentioned how important sunscreen is year long. So many people are misinformed when it comes to sunscreen. I definitely make sure my facial moisturizers have sunscreen in it. I need that extra protection. I will definitely give this product a try. Thank you for sharing.

It’s something that lots of people have told me over the year and I’m finally doing. You can never start early enough in my eyes. I have fair skin so I have always had to wear a high factor in sunscreen in the summer but it’s amazing how much damage UVA/UVB rays can do to your skin x

They sound great! I take really good care of my skin when it comes to suncare, I’m high risk in a lot of categories (really fair skin, lots of moles, light hair/ eyes etc) so I like to take all the precautions I can. I wear SPF 50 pretty much every day, it’s great that these ones are fragrance free because I have sensitivity issues with a lot of SPFs. I need to add these to my list to try x

It’s such a great habit to get into now, wearing SPF every day. Yes if you have sensitive skin I would say give this sunscreen a go x
