New Products I'm loving this Month

With it drawing to the end of January it’s been a month of trying a few new beauty products out. Either pieces I got for Christmas or picked up in the sales. So here are the new products I have been loving this month.

Let’s start off with haircare. Everyone has been raving about *Function of Beauty so I decided to finally give it a go myself. I picked up a shampoo and Conditioner in the gorgeous limited edition scent ‘isn’t she (bubb)ly’, which honestly smells incredible. So far I’ve really been enjoying both products. The shampoo lathers really nicely and doesn’t leave any product build-up on my scalp. My hair feels so clean and the conditioner is so hydrating and leaves my hair silky soft. I love that you can customise the shampoo and condition to your exact needs. They even have a conditioner for oily scalps, which I picked up and it really works. I’m going to do a full review, after using it for a complete month, so keep an eye out for that.

There seems to be a theme of haircare this month, not that that’s a bad thing. I poped the *Slip skinny silk scrunchies on my Christmas list last year and have been using them ever since. I am now obsessed with them and have thrown away all my other hairbands. Silk is the kindest way of tying up your hair, as it stops any tugging and breakages. I love how comfortable these skinny hairbands are, even after a whole day of wearing them. They don’t slip out during the day and are the perfect tightness. I’ve been using the same one for a month and it hasn’t started to lose it’s elastic. They also look so cute on your wrist, I’ll never be without a hairband again.

I’m always on the hunt for new lip balms to try out, so decided to take advantage of the Christmas sales. I picked up the *Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm in Peach and really like it. I’ve used the Fresh Lip Advanced Treatments in the past but wanted something more creamy and hydrating. Firstly the peach scent is gorgeous and I really like the sheer peachy tint. I find this lip balm so hydrating and nourishing, even on the coldest of walks/days. It’s so much better than any other lip balm I have tried in the past and I might purchase a couple of other scents. I currently have my eye on the blood orange scent.

If you want to give Function of Beauty a try then you can get 20% off your first order here. I’ve honestly loved it so far and would highly recommend giving it a try. They also now have a customisable skincare routine, which I’m intrigued about.

What products have you been loving this month?

My sister is a huge fan of Function of beauty shampoos, she’s been raving about it for so long. I love the idea of a silky scrunchie, need to add it to my wishlist as I am always on the hunt for something that doesn’t damage my hair. This month I am very much into a lip mask from Laneige which works wonders! Thank you so much for sharing x

Now I have tried Function of Beauty I can see why so many people love it. There are a lot of brands that now sell silk hair scrunchies, I think people are realising how beneficial they are for your hair x

Having haircare made exactly for your hair needs seems like the best way to take care of your hair. I always find it so hard finding a shampoo that combines all my wants for my hair. Honestly, silk scrunchies are amazing x

I tried Function of Beauty last year and didn’t really like it. I feel like I didn’t pick the right ones for my hair type and it kind of ruined the experience a little, but I’m so tempted to try it again and try and get a better match xx

oh no! To be honest there are so many options to choose from and it’s really hard to know exactly what your hair may need. Maybe give it another go and hopefully this time you will find the right formulation for you x

I’m so glad I took the plunge and gave it ago. I have to be honest the price of it did scare me but we invest so much money in skincare why should it be different for our haircare x
