Blogging is an amazing place to find new products, that lots of people trust and swear by. The only problems is a lot of these brands are well known, meaning its harder to find the smaller brands with amazing products. I have started to use more all natural beauty products, as I feel they are so much better for you and your skin will thank you for it. I have been lucky enough to work with two all natural brands recently and wanted to share with you some of my favourite products from them, as they have seamlessly incorporated them into my daily routine.
The first brand is Avocadeau and as you can tell from the name all their products have avocado oil incorporated into them. Avocado is a fruit we are always told to eat but I have never heard of it being used in beauty products, so I immediately jumped at the chance to try some of their products. The first thing I love about this brand is that all their products are homemade and the packing is so simple, meaning that the focus is put onto the product itself rather than really fancy packaging.
I have to say my favourite products has to be the Avo’ Scrub Face Mask. I have used a lot of clay based face masks in the past but this one was so different. Firstly the mask was really thick to apply, which is because it only has three ingredients (kaolin clay face mask, avocado oil and carrot seed oil extract). This mask helps to draw out any impurities in your skin whilst hydrating your skin and helping reduce redness, so a bit of a multitasking mask which I love. I used this when I was only holiday and my skin felt amazing after using it. It really helped replenish my skin after lots of exposure to the sun.
The next product I tried out was the Avo’ Calm Foot Balm, a thick and rich beeswax balm infused with avocado oil and peppermint to sooth and deeply moisturise tired feet. This products is so nice after a long day on your feet and really helps keep your feet looking and feeling so soft. You can also use this product on your nails to help restore the essential oils, perfect if you wear lots of nail varnish. A bit of a multi purpose balm!
If you are looking for a new versatile oil then you need to try the Avo’ Infusion Oil in Delicate Rose Deranium, you literally use it in so many ways from a cleanser to a leave-in conditioner. I really enjoy using this product in the bath, as it leaves my skin feeling so soft, moisturised and it smells lovely too. I have used this in my hair but as a pre shampoo treatment, and it’s really helped condition the needs of my hair and added a natural shine too.
If you want to give any of these products a go or just read up about them then here is their website: Avocadeau.
The next brand I wanted to talk about is Kathleen Natural , which is a bit more pricey but again their products are all organic and vegan. Kathleen Natural’s products are formulated from a blend of precious plants, marine extracts and essential oils, which are sourced from all around the world. With this in mind Kathleen Natural is a producer of luxury products which does come with a higher price tag.
Kathleen have just release three collection of their aromatherapy body products, with each only tailored towards a different mood. I was lucky enough to choose a collection to try out so I picked the Sensual Rose Duo. This collection has been developed to enhance your feeling of Joy, romance and positivity with notes of orange, rose and nutmeg. This collection has the Sensual Rose Body and Massage Oil and the Sensual Rose Bubble Bath and Shower Gel, which I use together. I love using the Shower Gel in the shower as it lathers up so nicely and leaves me feeling really fresh and awake. When I first read these notes I wasn’t too sure if I would like the combination but they work so well together. Once I get out of the shower I then pop the Body Oil on and dry myself. My skin feels so soft and smells amazing, I also feel more motivated in the evening now, as that is when I shower, maybe this combination of scents really does change the way you are feeling.
I would love to know if you have found any small brands recently, that you just can’t get enough off. There are so many brands that sometimes you just have to search to find the perfect one for you.
On another note I have some exciting news, I am finally getting my own domain name (Finally, only took me 2 years!), so if you can’t get onto my blog then thats why. I am going to try and do the move over as quickly as possible. Once my new blog is live I will let you all know and I will also have this blog redirected to my new one to make it super easy for you all. I am so excited for this big step into self hosted blogging world, bring on the battle of my DA.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and see you soon with a fresh blog!
