One of my favourite looks to wear on a Sunday is Sport Luxe, I love feeling comfortable but still looking nice at the same time. If you love wearing workout gear but never know how to make it look stylish then Sport Luxe is the way forward. There are so many ways of incorporating workout gear into your wardrobe, whilst still looking sophisticated. The outfit bellow is one I just love and has so many different uses, whether its popping to the gym or going out with friends at the weekend.
Sweaty Betty if one of my favourite brands when it come to buying workout gear, especially sport luxe pieces. These leggings, which were last season, are the perfect mix between practical running leggings and stylish wear with a gorgeous zip and rose gold detail. If I could I would wear these legging everyday as they are so comfortable and don’t fall down during the day, like normally leggings. I also love the burgundy colour, it feels very autumnal and perfect for the upcoming Autumn/ Winter months. Workout leggings are a great item to base a sport luxe outfit around, especially if they are a plain colour, as its easy to throw on a chunky knit jumper and some boots to make it look like a well thought out outfit.
Jackets are another key item, in my opinion, which really helps bring together a sport luxe look. I recently purchased a Rab Women’s Cirrus Flex Jacket in Steel and have fallen in love with it. I bought this jacket fora trip to Iceland and after wearing it a couple of times I have realised how essential this jacket will be from now on. This jacket is very lightweight and so amazingly warm, whilst looking great at the same time. I also love wearing my Zara Faux Suede Biker Jacket, as it gives more of a softer overall look to the outfit.
For me the key with sport luxe is layering different pieces like leggings, jumper, jacket and boots to create quite a relaxed look, thats really comfortable to wear but still looks great too. A lot of the time I will get my favourite Sport Luxe inspiration from boards on Instagram and Pinterest and then try to recreate the style myself using mostly what I have in my capsule wardrobe.
Do you like wearing Sport Luxe or is it just not your style?
