The Cult Beauty Starter Kit

I love trying out new beauty products so when I saw Cult Beauty had released their The Cult Beauty Starter Kit for £30 (worth £90) I had to pick it up. This Cult Beauty Starter Kit is made up of six ‘Holy Grail’ products that are iconic on Instagram. This box includes a mix of skincare and make-up brands, which I haven’t tried before so this was the perfect way to finally give these products ago.

Firstly, can we just talk about the presentation? I have to say Cult Beauty always wrap your purchased up in black tissue paper, so they always arrive perfectly in the box. The starter kit comes in a black box, with cult beauty written in white in the corner, so you can easily reuse the box again.

So what’s in The Cult Beauty Starter Kit?

Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Palette

Dr Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Sleepair Intensive Mask (30ml)

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 Styling Treatment (118ml)

Plenaires Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover (30ml)

Ren Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic (50ml)

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream (15ml)

Everyone raves about Huda Beauty eyeshadow Palettes and the Coral Obsessions Palette screams Autumn to me, with the gorgeous deep red and orange shades. The quality of these shadows are gorgeous, so easy to blend and the pigment is lovely.

I am currently going through a skincare phase so I was so excited that five of the products are skincare. I’ve heard so many great things about Dr Jart, The Inkey List and Ren so I can’t wait to put these products to the test. This box is a great way to try them out without the full price tags.

I have missed styling my hair so The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Styling Treatment will be welcomed with open arms by my hair. I have quite fine hair so when I curl it I need some styling products to keep the curls in, otherwise, they fall out within an hour. This product also strengthens and conditions your hair, which is much needed especially with my postpartum hair loss.

So do I think the box is worth it? Yes, I definitely think so. This box includes a really nice selection of products that I ordinarily wouldn’t have picked up and allowed me to try some brands I have been dying to give a try but never know what to pick up. If you are obsessed with beauty like me then this is the box for you. You can try six new brands for a fraction of the price, what’s not to love?
