I am always on the hunt for new lip balms to try out. I’ve just never found one I love enough to stick with. Saying that I did go a year where all I used was the *Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy and the *Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Rose but then I wanted a change. Recently I’ve picked up two new lip balms that I honestly love. So here’s a little lip balm edit.
Firstly let start with my favourite, which is the *Nars Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm. I feel that this lip balm is a bit of a cult product in the beauty blogger world. Everyone seems to have tried it and fallen in love. I really like a tinted lip balm but normally you have to compromise with either hydration or longevity but not with this lip balm. I love how it gives your lips a gorgeous pink sheer tint and leaves your lips feeling hydrated for hours. The packaging is also so gorgeous. I tend to pop this lip balm on after my skincare, that way I always remember to apply it. The perfect products for those days when a no-makeup day but still want to look put together.
The next lip balm I’ve been loving is from Fresh and it’s their *Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm in Peach. I’ve been using this lip balm for two months and have already hit pan! Shows how much I love and use it. I’m just about to purchase another one as I just can’t bear to be without it. Again this lip balm has a tint but it’s more of a very sheer peach tone. That perfect your lips but better colour. Just like the Nars Afterglow, this lip balm is super hydrating.
Texture-wise it’s a rich gel that doesn’t leave your lips feeling sticky or tacky, so perfect under lipsticks. I also have to mention how delicious this lip balm smells. It’s like a fresh peach, so good I want to eat it. Fresh have other lip balms in the range, really tempted to pick up the *blood orange version. Sounds amazing and love that it’s a deep shade of red.
What lip balms have you been loving this lockdown? Has your lip balm edit grown recently like mine?
